The International Festival of Traditional Folklore of Agadir, the expression will be eloquent of the need to build a united world, a world respectful of diversity. A simple and enameled world of love.

For five days, FIFTA brought together people from diverse backgrounds, from different continents and countries, different beliefs, different races and cultures that are conveyed by music, songs, dances and costumes very varied.

Our objective is to promote communication, contact and exchange between participants in this unique and unifying event by creating a contact between the dancers and the public despite their different customs and religions, but also to make known the Moroccan culture and traditions through the world.

I invite you, dear public, guests, partners, friends of the festival and press to join us at the second edition of FIFTA which will be held from 10 to 14 July 2019.

The Flamant Association of Art and Social-Cultural Development organizes, in partnership with CIOFF-Morocco, second edition of the International Festival of Traditional Folklore, under the theme «The Culture and heritage, pillars of tourism development».

The artistic painting proposed during this second edition celebrates three eternal refinements. In this occurrence, folklore, dance and folk arts in the through a rich program animated by fifteen shows, which offer each evening a repertoire tinged with varied sounds.

This edition is also a crossroads that brings together artists and creates professional meetings between young Gadiris, artists and guests of the Festival coming from different countries and regions of Morocco, to develop a space of artistic exchange during the five days of FIFTA.

The organizers

The Flamant Association of Art and Social-Cultural Development is created on 21March 2017 by ambitious and dynamic young gadiris interested in the culture. To this, they decided to take up a challenge to strengthen of the spirit of exchange and sharing in opening to the various cultures of the world whole.

The main objective of the Flamant association is to promote heritage cultural and artistic Moroccan at the local level, in particular the city of Agadir and the Souss-Massa Region, as well as at the national and international level.

Through the wealth of its activities, Flamant is not limited to appearance activities cultural and artistic, but extends its activities to the tourism, social and human development.

After the success of the first edition of the International Folklore Festival Traditional of Agadir, Morocco officially joins the International Council Folklore and Traditional Arts Festivals «CIOFF», following to an invitation addressed to the founding director of the festival Ms. Chama EZ-ZAHRANY, President of the Flamant Association of Art and Development Socio-cultural, on behalf of this council.

CIOFF® is the official partner accredited to the Heritage Committee Intangible Cultural “IPP” of the United Nations Education, Science and Culture “UNESCO”. They works to safeguard immaterial cultural heritage through cultural activities such as traditional arts festivals, the exchange of artistic troupes between countries, education, training and conferences, and many other activities.
